Elon Musk hints upcoming Grok AI, here’s upside for crypto innovators
Elon Musk teases major update for Grok AI
Elon Musk, the founder of SpaceX and chairman of the X social media platform, has teased a major update coming to his large language model (LLM) Grok AI. Musk announced on the X platform that the xAi team is currently training the model for Grok 2, an enhanced version that will succeed the recently revealed Grok 1.5 version.
Grok 1.5 is set to come with enhanced reasoning capabilities and the ability to process a context length of 128,000 tokens. One of the key updates for this new model is its performance in coding and math-related tasks. Musk also hinted that Grok 2 will surpass all existing AI products in terms of advancement.
Competition heats up in the AI space
Elon Musk’s announcement has sparked a sense of competition among key AI innovators, including those within the crypto ecosystem. The trio of Fetch.ai (FET), SingularityNET (AGIX), and Ocean Protocol (OCEAN) recently announced the launch of Artificial Superintelligence (ASI) with plans to unify their token.
These blockchain AI pioneers are now looking to leverage their resources to build applications that could potentially compete with Grok 2. As the AI war intensifies, cryptocurrency protocols have the opportunity to showcase their decentralized advantage.
