Yuki Gambaryan, the spouse of detained Binance senior official Tigran Gambaryan, has reached out to the U.S. Congressional delegation in Nigeria for assistance in securing her husband’s release. **U.S. Delegation Meeting with Nigerian Officials**

Senator Cory Booker led a U.S. Senate delegation in a meeting with President Bola Tinubu in Abuja to discuss mutual interests and democracy in Africa. It is believed that the agenda of the visit included requests for the release of the detained Binance official, Tigran Gambaryan.

**Detention of Binance Executives**

Earlier in February, two top executives of Binance were reportedly detained by the Nigerian government over alleged manipulations in foreign exchange trading and speculative activities. One executive managed to escape custody, while Tigran Gambaryan filed a lawsuit against the government, NSA, and EFCC, claiming his detention was being used as leverage against Binance.

Yuki Gambaryan’s plea to the U.S. Congressional delegation highlights the ongoing challenges faced by cryptocurrency platforms in Nigeria and the need for international intervention in resolving these issues.
